You left out the fact that Iran limited inspections, removed monitoring equipment in 2021, and all the while kept on enriching uranium to beyond 5 (5% is what is actually needed for energy production). You’re being a bit disingenuous with your posting by leaving out the actual details leading up to current events.
Forgot to mention, Barack’s diplomacy was a ~1.7 trillion (400 million cash, with interest/penalties dating back to 1970) in funding. Wonder what they did with that…maybe buy some tech for enrichment or something.

This outcome was literally the best ending that Iran could’ve hoped for. The US gave their regime the best propaganda imaginable in that we bombed a school and threatened to genocide them, and we know that they don’t really give a shit about their people, so we basically helped them execute civilians they would’ve had no problem killing.

Chuck Schumer, Hilary Clinton (and now we know Joe Biden), as well as numerous other Democratic Party leaders wanted war with Iran. They’ve been salivating for it. Kamala Harris said Iran is our greatest threat on the campaign trail.
Obama has been the only democrat to get power and try to make peace with Iran, and he succeeded. Trump pulled us out of the JCPOA, since the Republicans want war with Iran just as badly. Biden had the chance to go back into the JCPOA, and Iran made it clear that they wanted to reestablish it, but he didn’t because he’s an avowed Zionist and Israel desperately also wants war with Iran.
I’m hard on Obama for a lot of things, but the JCPOA is not one of them. He went against what the other leaders in the party wanted and faced a lot of backlash within the party for it, for no self-centered benefit; it was purely to make America have one new potential ally. That’s very arguably his biggest win, and certainly his biggest foreign policy achievement.
Which is probably why Trump so eagerly destroyed it.

* Viciously tear down their achievements (that may have been imperfect but actually lifted everyone up)
* Propose and/or re-do the same work they did (only at much worse quality) taking credit for a solution while falsely claiming it’s better when it is objectively worse
* and in the end, leave everyone worse off and suffering the damage that had already been repaired.
The evidence is all around us. This happens in society, government, medicine/science, in corporate offices all over America, cultural trends, absolutely everything. Over and over. 400 long years and counting. It’s not just white people either. There’s plenty of jealous, mediocre anti-Black minorities who do this exact same thing.

To some folks in the Republican Party, allowing a black POTUS to actually solve domestic and foreign issues that worry the American public challenges the narrative they want to uphold that black people are incapable of doing much of anything, let alone run the country.
That’s why they are fine with destroying the Iran Deal and getting rid of the ACA (Obamacare btw!!) and replacing it with nothing, because for some it’s better to have nothing than to have something created and crafted by a black man that helps them.
The country allows them to get away with this too. All this suffering for no gain. Racism once again continuing to being America’s Achilles heel.
